Hermes/Mercury, of course; Thoth was the Egyptian god of wisdom. Main problem is most of the Greek personifications of wisdom are female; Athena, Metis, Sophia. How about Mentor? Brainiac 7? Mr. Fantastic? :-) Oh, and can't forget Euclid.
