Anyway, I must agree with you on the point that no other games really have good storylines. I'm disappointed. The only games that have halfway decent stories (besides bungie games) are those that are made as compRPG's. Even some of them have crap stories. It's too common for me to find someone who likes computer games and ask them what the game they like is about, and they just say "What do you mean? Oh, I've never actually played the single player game. It's only good for multiplayer" What the hell are they thinking??? Well, good point. Single player sucks cuz the story is:
A) You are a marine in hell. Kill monsters to save the world.
B) Your home is being invaded. Kill monsters to save it.
C) There are bad guys. Kill them to save the universe.
D) You are shipwrecked on a strange place. Kill things to get home.
Amazing depth in the storylines there. I'm just amazed. So, there's my mini-rant for the day. Wooowoo!
