In Response To: Magic and RPGs (William Wallace)

: As you know, I have nearly finished the RPG.
: All I need to do is the Bestiary (rules for
: monsters/creatures etc) and the Magic section. At its
: current state, it is nor very GM friendly (but for out
: purposes I'm the only GM anyway!!) but I intend to
: rewrite it when I release it on a website (which
: reminds me: which is better our of HTML or an editor?)
: and make it look spangly with pictures and stuff.

I'll help...esp. if you're gonna put it up in HTML.

: Now, I'm thinking of starting the eRPG before I finish
: the magic section. Players will still be able to make
: up mage-style characters, but I will have to improvise
: the rules for wizard construction and magic spells
: until I get them done. This will mean that non-magic
: users can start the RPG very soon and not have
: anything to worry about! What does everyone think?

My Zerk Captain and his detachment won't need magic, so I'll be good to go once I set up my characters.

Incidentally, it's nice to know that some people have the same troubles I do and that I'm not alone in translating the RPG into a readable format.
