In Response To: Re: Asylumn Night (Forrest)

We started off with Forrest, Duckyjo, SiliconDream,
Smeagol, Dan Rudolph, and William Wallace, plus ƒƒ
guest stars Prof. Gast and Vincent Valentine. Ares
promised to show up Real Soon Now™. Ducky hosted up a
game, and we began to talk.

We talked about when the new night and time should be, if
any. Most people there said that the current
night/time was fine, likely because they, being there,
were able to make it that night and time. However, the
idea of two Nights, the current one and a make-up one
on Sunday for those who couldn't make the first one,
was proposed. We resolved to discuss it further on the
forum. Then we played a game of Morte Della Luna.
Forrest had Gorlan, but was lagging badly so he traded
with SiliconDream for the other Lock. But then
Forrest's Lock proceeded to shoot at some Thrall right
next to Gorlan, and we lost.

While in the game, we argued over whether Morte Della
Luna was a prequel to the upcoming Homelands scenario,
or not set in the Myth world at all. Forrest insisted
Ares had told him the former - Wallace insisted Omac
had told him the latter. The issue was never resolved,
because we lost.

So we went on to play Morte again. Forrest decided to
take a couple harmless warriors, but ended up getting
most of them killed anyway. Gorlan got speared by some
Soulless anyway. While in the game, we had a rehash of
the previous debate, Are Fetch Energy Beings? Forrest
argued no - they are physical aliens hiding in human
skins, as they have horns and odd spinal ridges
sticking out of them. Others insisted they were energy
beings, as they shoot lightening and release vaporous
"spirits" when killed. Forrest countered
that they have a mastery of energy magics, and that
"spirit" is Wyrd smiting them. Then we lost,
and the issue was dropped.

Then Ducky had to go, so we dropped back to the lobby and
tried to decide on another host. Face, our first
choice, had to leave too. Drunken Ghol came on though,
and he tried to host, but the game was red for some
reason. Then Face decided to come back and host for
us. This time we played Acts of Piety, but Face or
Bungie.net or something crashed. Face vanished. We
regathered on a slightly odd-behaving Bungie.net, and
tried to play again. The game crashed, again.

We regathered again and Joyeuse showed up to host. We
played Redemption and won with very few casualties!
Then we played Shiver and won with no casualties
(except that converted Krid that Seanchaid killed).
Then we played the Great Library - and by this point
Forrest had started to be a little quiet and inactive,
watching TV - and won!

Then Forrest left. The rest went on without him to play "Limbs, Heads and Smoking Craters" twice, both times unsuccessfully (dang Mortal-packing Ghols), while Wallace and Vince argued over whether you should swear online or not.

Thus ended Asylum Night 14, with a record 9 games.
