In Response To: Re: Ducky? HELP! (William Wallace)

Um... Well, the way the RPG is written, it would be damn near impossible to convert it to Simpletext (.txt application, like notepad). Simpletext and notepad just don't work like that. So here's how you should probably do it.

Since I only believe that Microsoft sucks in terms of anti-mac-ness, I use MS products unless they are operating systems. I have MS word. So I use that to do word processing, and that's the kind of file that the RPG is written in. Now, I'm not sure of this, but in theory, if you open the RPG with some other WORD PROCESSOR (not simpletext or notepad!) such as claris works, apple works, or something of that nature, it should work fine.

If that doesn't work, then I may have to take some time and copy the entire thing onto simpletext or something, and that would suck. So can you people bear with me here and try to find something that will open it? I know there are some web sites that have downloadable word processors, but I'm not sure if the freeware things are any good. I'll get back to everyone on that.

Good luck... I hope
