Well, I guess if he is stubborn enough to not want to change any of those things, then it's best not to disturb him too much. We do have our own myth RPG, and ours will be better than his as far as things go, only his will be commercially sponsored and stuff like that. We don't need commercial sponsoring :)
You are right about the dorf speeds though. They're faster than even forest giants, which seems downright stupid to me. But there are some occasions when a dwarf can take a bit of damage from a stray bottle and still survive. It's not common, but it happens. Direct hits always kill them, but some that are farhter off the mark aren't always lethal.
