Yeah, I don't think anyone should throw it away. It's a great foundation to build a theory on... as long as you're willing to bend a little when someone points out evidence from the game that contradicts that theory. I like to think of it as an artist's rendition of the mythworld. You can't consider it accurate, but sometimes it's the best guess anyone has to go by.
