I'm not sure if you'd call it a mistake as such, but the Jman's coat is described as possessing an "enchantment" which cuts all damage by 20%; this is presumably GURPS's interpretation of the in-game fact that 20% of impact/melee attacks are absorbed (with no mention of any magical basis for this). Personally, I think they could have stuck closer to the game on this without compromising RPG playability.
