Me too. The narrator describes the effect of the armor as making the user invulnerable and tireless in battle. When something is described in this way it usually does not mean it literally. As Forrest says, it probably does not just make the wearer immune to all weapons, rather healing him constantly instead (and giving him strength enough to make him seemingly tireless in battle). This is similar to the Tain in that it describes that as a prison without walls and the narrator announces each Tain level as, 'Inside the Tain' where as it is more likely that the Tain transports people to another dimension/universe/place in Myth world etc. Also with the Eblis Stone. It says that it makes Alric an equal of Balor, however it probably doesn't make a copy of Balor's magic and give it to Alric, more likely that it just makes Alric so powerful that he could be compared to Balor. As I have explained, this form of wording happens a lot in Myth and so I think you may be right Forrest.
