Even if they do release a Myth III, it probably wouldn't be set withing one year of Soulblighter's defeat. Anyway, GURPS Myth assumes that normally people will be setting their games one year after SB's defeat.
Also, I doubt Myth III will be released for a while, so we have plenty of time. Do you want to take part in the eRPG?
