: manuel, you will see a picture of the Deceiever with
: an eyepatch over his right eye. I think there's also
: another picture of him with the patch in front of a
: big army of thrall somewhere.
: If you look at any picture of him in Myth II, he does not
: have an eyepatch, nor is there any apparent reason why
: he used to wear one (his eye seems perfectly normal).

I would assume that this is because the units aren't rendered at very high detail. You just can't see the eyepatch.
