: That's really pretty close to right Forrest :). The
: problem is, there is no conclusive proof that there is
: one divine spirit which seems to inhibit the Great
: Hero of the age. Also, there is vague speculation that
: Alric may be the real leveller in GURPS:Myth. I've
: seen some of the threads that say that there may have
: been two clashing spirits throughout the cycles, but
: as far as we know, the only true being which inhibits
: a person is that of the Leveller. The Great Hero may
: just be a really buff guy who can manage to take out
: the leveller, and the battles are always destined to
: go one way or the other anyways, so the Light would
: have a significant advantage over the dark, and vice
: versa.
However, as I just said in the same thread below, since GURPS says Alric is likely a reincarnation of Moagim (and thus Tireces), and the Leveller who opposed Connacht was also called "Moagim reborn", then every named Hero or Leveller we know of was either Alric or Connacht. Tireces was Alric, Moagim was Alric, Connacht was Connacht (duh) and his opponent Alric, and Balor was Connacht and his opponent Alric. Look, I'll draw a chart...
_______ (Unnamed) vs Good Alric (Tireces)
_______ (Unnamed) vs Bad Alric (Moagim)
Bad Alric (Moagim Reborn) vs Good Connacht (Connacht)
Good Alric (Alric) vs Bad Connacht (Balor)
Fill in the blanks. See? Tireces/Moagim's opponents would have been incarnations of Connacht.
Bad Connacht (Unnamed) vs Good Alric (Tireces)
Good Connacht (Unnamed) vs Bad Alric (Moagim)
Bad Alric (Moagim Reborn) vs Good Connacht (Connacht)
Good Alric (Alric) vs Bad Connacht (Balor)
