Or it could mean that Balor just didn't realize that Alric was the Hero himself...or Alric IS the up-and-coming Leveller.
What I'm confused about, though, concerning this timeline, is that Balor's flavor text in "The Last Battle" indicates that Connacht slew the Leveller in the "Second Era." Wouldn't this support the theory that an era is comprised of two ages?
