That's pretty definite. As I understand it, the flavor texts are just quotes and are fallible. The journal entries are limited by the narrator's experience. However, information we're given straight up in the manual, names and unit types are accurate. Basically, we can trust anything that doesn't come from a source within Mythworld.

Here, an outside source tells us this woman definitely is Ravanna and Shiver.
