: But GURPS speaks as if Ravanna existed *as* Ravanna
: during Balor's reign. So if Shiver and Ravanna were
: the same person, the incarnations must have gone
: Culwyeh-->Ravanna-->Myth2 Shiver.

But it also speaks of Shiver (Culwyeh) as being around in Balor's reign, along with Ravanna (The Voiceless One). So, since Culwyeh is an ancient evil, and Ravanna is a previous incarnation of her, but they were BOTH around during Balor's reign, I can only see it one way...

Ravanna, the Voiceless One, was killed long ago, cast into some "eternal sleep".

She was reborn as little Culwyeh, who grew up to be Shiver.

Along came Balor and recruited Shiver, AND awakened her previous incarnation from the "eternal sleep". So there were two incarnations, Culwyeh and Ravanna, running about at the same time.

Shiver (Culwyeh) was killed by Rabican in the battle for Madrigal. The Voiceless One (Ravanna) was killed in the clean-up after Balor's fall, along with the Deceiver, The Lurker, and the Faceless Man.

Sixty years later, her/their spirit was given a corporeal form through Tramist's Mirror, which is the Ravanna/Shiver we see in Myth II.
