: I'm assuming you mean Damas and Culwyeh. If Culwyeh is an
: ancient evil, she must be over 1000 years old. Damas
: is just a hair over 1000 years old, assuming he didn't
: become immortal until he started tracking down magical
: artifacts. For the light to even think Shiver could be
: a re-incarnation of Ravanna, Ravanna would have to
: have died before Culwyeh's death.

But GURPS speaks as if Ravanna existed *as* Ravanna during Balor's reign. So if Shiver and Ravanna were the same person, the incarnations must have gone Culwyeh-->Ravanna-->Myth2 Shiver. Anyway, no, I meant Damas and Ravanna, during the last few centuries.

: She saw what he did to the light, but I concede that he
: has lost power. He used to be able to mass-convert
: light forces, but now he can grab a unit every minute
: or so.

Which would definitely not be good enough against her pack of Myrks. I agree that any reasonable person would exercise lots and lots of caution when going up against The Deceiver, but I think it's part of his power to cause enemies to underestimate him even after he's suckered them two or three times before.

: I was hoping he would say something cryptic, but
: potentially useful. Maybe the Man needs to be bugged.

Bug Marty! They don't call him a "sound guy" for nothing.
