Yup, thats exactly what I think. And not just about this theory, there are many that have graced this forum that I believe are the most rediculous things! They never get proven because they are ideas spawned of imagination, not evidence. Some may have more evidence than others, but nothing rock hard. I know that this forum is for discussing ideas and new theories, but I think they need to be properly researched first.
I like the thing you said about the storytelling. At the end of 'The Five Champions', if you lose, you don't see Alric still in that containment field as though the heroes had failed. Oh no, he is dead! This could mean that either a) the Dark weren't sure what to do and eventually decide to kill him, or b) they killed him because an attempt had been made to rescue him and they could not risk another happening and succeeding.
