In Response To: The Head is a half god (Killing Duck)

: I got a new theori about the head, i dint think hi have
: ever been an enemy of Connacht or maybe hi has, i
: think he is a kind of half god, like Loke in the norse
: mythology,
: like Loke the Head always swift side, sometime he
: supports Alric and sometimes he support Balor, maybe
: his is a kind of a balancer, working for Wyrd the
: preserver, i think the head is the åperson that holds
: the cycle together, i think that he helped the evil
: until him the Bezserk took him and brought him to the
: good.

: i then he helped the good side, because now the good had
: to win, he is Loke

If he held the cycle together, he should have facilitated the dark winning. While he did apparently betray the nine, he also did things that hurt the dark and oddly, the light won anyway. Besides, he was buried somewhere before the light found him. I doubt he was much help to the dark like that.

However, the Loki analogy may be appropriate. As I recall, Loki was a trickster. GURPS implies that the Head is Seagoth, son of Wyrd. Connections have been made between the Myth gods and the Jjaro/Yrro of the Marathon series. The Jjaro are characterized as obfuscators of the highest order. As Hamish said, "The Jjaro have a saying: 'Whatever you say, say nothing clearly.'" This fits the head as well.
