Big question: If Balor in the Barrier is actually The Deceiver disguised, why is Alric left trapped in the stasis field? Why is he hunted down when the heroes arrive? Why not "accidentally" let him escape? Okay, you could say that, considering that he DOES escape, he was allowed to do so, but that would be like using Chris's theory on the Great Devoid.
