: Am I the only one who gets the idea the Deceiver likes
: being frozen in the glacier? I know it's just comic
: relief--but that zerk really mangles the incantation.
: I was under the impression you need to get spells just
: right or they backfire on you. The Jman is pretty
: serious about making sure he has it right. The zerk
: more or less spouts random words and waves the sceptre
: around like a claymore. This should have no effect at
: all--or if anything, it should kill the zerk, right?
: But the Deceiver sits right up and says "close
: enough", as if he'd been waiting for this and
: just wanted to make sure the zerk wasn't an enemy.
: It's more like a password than an incantation.
I doubt that the D liked it in there. After the zerk says the incantation, the D gets healed. Also, I personally think his meaning in "close enough, now let us away" was that the light had come close enough to the D and his Warlocks, as all of them teleport out afterwards.
