Which losses are you referring to? I was simply saying that Soulblighter missed Balor's head on purpose, but Charon seemed to think that if Soulblighter wanted to let Balor die, he wouldn't have gone after the dwarf since only dwarves can carry items. My main gripe was that the dwarf's ability is simply a lack of coding for other characters. There is no Myth World Universal Law that states only Dwarves can cary items, so Soulblighter had no idea who was carrying the head.
He had to make it look like he tried to save Balor to keep everyone thinking he was deperate to get his head back. It was believed that once Balor was killed, Soulblighter would no longer be a threat so his last ditch effort to get the head back was fitting and added to the belief. I don't think he is as loyal as people presume he is.
