: This may reflect a desire on the part of the Myth makers
: to introduce new material, rather than an error. The
: book makes a point of saying that it's not known who
: *really* imprisoned the Watcher. Probably, whenever a
: good deed was done anonymously, the people of the Cath
: Bruig would attribute it to Connacht.
Myrdred was an avatara, perhaps he used it in the presence of Connacht who was the leader of the adventure/quest and got all the credit...
: It doesn't say that the dream of unlife was never
: discovered. It only says that the Watcher never found
: it. Just because it doesn't have its own paragraph
Just because the Dream of Unlife wasn't found doesn't mean you can't make undead units. Gurps plainly indicates that there is plentyof learned magic around, like Warlocks learn, including many necromatic spells. Many mages just decline to learn these dark arts, but Fallen Lords have no such qualms.
: I don't see this. Are you inferring it from the fact that
: the Deceiver is thought to possess the confinement
: dream? I think the binding dream is referred to
: separately as the "compulsion" dream.
In the game it is called the Binding Dream though.
: I'm sure this was approved by Bungie; they could hardly
: have overlooked such an important detail. It's weird
: that they don't explain *how* he died, though.
Deciever isn't dead GURPS Myth drops several hints to this.
