Whaddaya mean all the major sorcerers have it??? The shades and alric are the only ones with that spell. Flog me senseless with a broken toothpick if I'm wrong, but the only sorcerers that we see using dispersal dreams are the shades and alric, right?
None of the runestones are in easily accessible places, and they are all secrets that are guarded by the people that know of them. I'd argue that Alric and the shades just know of places where the dispersal dream is. Maybe the shades' dreams are different, but they still have the same effect. I wonder...
