I was reading my brand new copy of GURPS Myth when I came across a very interesting piece of information. The Voiceless One was called Ravanna during the Great War. The book offers a theroy on this. Its therorises that Shiver and the Voiceless One where one and the same. This however makes little sence when you compare the personality/style of the two fallen. Shiver was a wild maylestorm of destuction and disorder, often spearheading attacks. The Voiceless One was the most secretive of the Fallen, slipping away on missions that even Balor did not quite understand.
Why would two of the fallen share the same name? I dont beleave in coincidences like that. So here is my theory.
The voiceless one was a splinter of shivers previuse life, possibly created by shiver millinia ago for her own use in case she was destroyed. Perhaps Balor found this thing that possesed all of the trates that shiver failed to disply(she would have had to lay low for awile so people would realy think she was dead right?) but with most of her magical abilaty. If this is even close I cant say if Shiver had any control over her "sister" but it will explain why they have the same names.
This may be far fetched, it has little evedence other than that the book talked like shiver was the most powerfull of the fallen(I did not say smartest) and her apperent abilaty to create extra lives without magical artifacts like Tramist's Mirror.
Well there it is, look it over beat it up, put me down for my insain ravings or exsalt me for my amazing perception but for Gods sake say SOMETHING! I just got back from seeing family and I have to have an intelleget discussion that has something to do with ANYTHING besides politics.
