I don't think objects the size of Tharsis could go in the Tain: Remember, when Damas invoked it, there were no Trees or Forest Giants or grass or water or anything like that from Forest Heart
My theory on the Tain (I don't have the book) is that only living or once-living-but-still-mostly-intact (like a Thrall or a Soulless) animal life could go in when it is invoked (explains why there are no trees or Forest Giants or anything like that)
