Ok; I'm gonna round things off to the nearest 500, and count from the dawn of the Age of Reason, just 'cause that's easier that dealing with AE dates.
So, here's our timeline according to what you've posted, and the "era" info in the Myth II epilogue:
Year 0000, Light "Age of Reason" (Second Era) begins.
Tireces (Hero1) kills Leveller1.
[Ok, this is nice and proper cycle behavior.]
Year 1000, Dark "Wind Age" (Third Era) begins.
Moagim (Leveller2) rises, brings Myrkridia.
Hero2 arises, kills Moagim (Leveller2).
Myrkridia continue to reign.
[Now things don't seem right; the Leveller and Hero arise at the same time? Also, TFL says that Connacht "drove the evil Moagim from the earth". So, uh... screwy.]
Year 2000, Light "Wolf Age" (Fourth Era) begins.
Leveller3 arises, attacks West.
Connacht (Hero3) arises, kills Leveller3.
Myrkridia exterminated, Light prospers.
[Again, Leveller and Hero arise at the same time? And also again, Connacht killed Moagim! Well, some called this Leveller3 "Moagim reborn", so that could explain it.]
Year 3000, Dark "Sword Age" (Fifth Era) begins.
Balor arises, raises the dead.
Alric arises, kills Balor.
Undead exterminated, Light prospers.
[This seems right, except that the Light are propsering and this is supposed to be a Dark Age!]
So, this seems to be the pattern...
Every thousand years a Leveller and a Great Hero arise, roughly at the same time (though the Leveller seems to have been around for a while before, just not attacking until now). They clash, the outcome depends entirely upon their individual strengths. Whoever wins, the Dark will continue to reign in one age, and in the next the Light will exterminate them, and the next the Dark will reign, and so on.
Here's what I suspect for the current Sword Age, if the cycle isn't broken: Balor has been killed, but it's still a Dark Age. The Dream of Unlife is out of the bag, and various evils (Soulblighter, Shiver, Kyrilla, Cartucke, etc... maybe the Deceiver as well) abound. The Light will seem to prosper at first, but come under periodic attacks from increasingly greater evils. In a thousand years, the undead and other evils will be ravaging the land like the Myrkridia were at the end of the Wind Age. Then another Leveller will arise and try to take advantage of the situation, but another Hero will rise as well, kill him, and wipe the evil from the face of the world, ushering in a new Light Age.
