In Response To: Re: Locations In Myth *SPOILER* (Forrest)

Ok, i knew i'd read something in GURPS about Shiver, Culwyeh, and Ravanna before. On page 102 there's a section about "The Voiceless One".

Apparantly when the Deceiver called Shiver "Ravanna" this kinda pissed her off. Apparantly there is some sort of relationship between Shiver and Ravanna, they may be one in the same.

However, GURPS tells us that Shiver's true name is Culwyeh (Wights were created by Shiver and called "Messengers of Culwyeh"). Back concerning the Voiceless One, it says that her true name is Ravanna.

So, we have the following:
---

Soulbligter (Damas), Twice Bown

The Watcher (Bahlíal), Mad Goat of the Fens

Shiver (Culwyeh) ???

The Deceiver (Myrdred), Source of the 500 Poisons

The Lurker (Bheil), ???

The Voiceless One (Ravanna), ???
---
Which still leaves Bonesplitter and The Faceless Man somewhere too. If Shiver was the same as The Voiceless One, then The Faceless Man may have also been Soulblighter (if they can have 2 names), which would create this:
--

Soulbligter (Damas), Twice Bown (Faceless Man)

The Watcher (Bahlíal), Mad Goat of the Fens

Shiver (Culwyeh) Voiceless One (Ravanna)

The Deceiver (Myrdred), Source of the 500 Poisons

The Lurker (Bheil), ???

Bonesplitter (???), ???
---
or...if you want to say Soulblighter is just SB...
---

Soulbligter (Damas), Twice Bown

The Watcher (Bahlíal), Mad Goat of the Fens

Shiver (Culwyeh) Voiceless One (Ravanna)

The Deceiver (Myrdred), Source of the 500 Poisons

The Lurker (Bheil), Bonesplitter

The Faceless Man (???), ???
---
So, depending on what you may believe, there are as many as 3 different possibilities that i can see. Another note of interest, GURPS:Myth also states that Bahl'al reportedly never FOUND the Dream of Unlife:
---
"As a necromancer first and foremost, he pursued the Unlife Dream with great vigor, but reportedly never found it"

"...searching the ruined palaces and temples of the Trow for the runic dream of unlife"
---
Basically, this doesn't make sense, unless Necromancers knew how to raise thrall without the Dream of Unlife...so what would the Dream of Unlife actually do?

GURPS:Myth, creating more questions than answers
