Possible but not likely.
Two things...
First, Nyx was a female god. GURPS distinctly calls Nyx "her."
Second, we all know that either somehow Soulblighter voluntarily join Balor and was bound or was only loosely bound to him. Soulbighter was apparently the only Fallen to come out of the Great War unscathed. Perhaps Soulblighter was just really smart, he was the true Leveler and Balor was just a puppet. That would explain how he could resurrect Shiver and shatter the Cloudspine. That would explain Soulblighter's seemingly unstoppable appetite for destruction that matched and maybe even surpased Balors. He could've learned the dark arts first while on his crusade to destroy artifacts. The one's he couldn't destroy he hide away. Possibly to use when he came into power? Or maybe to keep the Nine from using them. He them could've come back brimming with dark knowledge and corrupted Connacht. I dunno its just a theory, but it sounds cool.
