I think there is going to be a book coming out soon that may have the story of both myth games, and before, in it. According to Steve Jackson Games, there will be a GURPS sourcebook for myth available soon. Unfortunately, I've been waiting for "soon" to happen for a few months. Maybe others are more patient than me, but I would love to have that book.
Until it comes out, I think the text tags and string list tags in myth 2 are your best bet for the storyline info.
