On a side note: it's good to see the Asylum's still up and running!
To actually answer your question: in general, head South, and keep moving. The archway is almost directly South of your starting position, on the far side of the map, though the shape of the terrain will likely force you go go somewhat West over the course of your retreat. Do not, repeat, not, attempt to kill the Trow and Oghres persuing you: although it's possible to defeat them, it's not really the kind of challenge your forces are equipped to handle, and, even if you succeed, you can expect your forces to be critically mauled in the process.
