: Now I've got a challenge for all of you. See if you can
: find any references in the original two Myth games
: that would contradict a thousand-year cycle of two
: 500-year eras. If that works, it solves a lot of
: apparent contradictions: it basically means we ignore
: large swaths of GURPS as many people originally
: advocated, against which I once fought tooth and nail.
: It means that there was only one Moagim, the original,
: none of this weird Reborn crap. In short it would make
: a whole lot of things a whole lot simpler.
: So can you find anything that goes against this
: hypothesis?
I really wish this worked but there doesn't seem to be anything explicitly supporting or denying this idea. I hate uncertainty but uncertainty is what we're left with.
So I agree with LR; we can't really know which cycle is the case. Myth's plot is like the top of my dad's dresser... it's got a lot of cool shit all over the place but there is absolutely no order whatsoever to it.
Forrest, if you can't find evidence to support or deny, I really can't imagine someone who could. Is sili still around?
All I know for sure is that the Shade named Mazzarin in "The Watcher" is sure as sin the same body which the hero Mazzarin possessed so long ago. Non sequitur, I know, but hahah I AM right!
