I haven't tried that patch with my original copy but will give it a go on my return to Aus. The patch doesn't work with Soulblighter in the anthology however, the progress bar finishes with the setup and everything seems fine but when opening the game it still shows version 1.3...

So there's still a decent community playing online? I never tried online but just might have to some day.
