: I'm a big fan of it. It completely reinvents the magic
: system to better reflect the rarity and power of magic
: in TBC. Combat operates at three levels (independent,
: unit, and army) each of which have different rules and
: such. There's good character flexibility (great, even)
: and they provide not only full rules for every major
: and minor TBC character and creature - but also plenty
: of suggestions as to how to run a game.
: I'd definitely advise buying it. Even though, as a
: playtester I got a rough rulebook, I still bought the
: real deal when it came out.
I'm sort of leery about buying it...as someone who's not really a BC fan (Its well written, but Myth's marginally more heroic feel is pretty gritty to me), and because I'm not sure I'd like the rules (they may work, they may not).
If you'd honestly recommend it, even to a user of another system, simply to borrow from and convert and what-not, I'll look into it. Otherwise, not worth it.
