: theres a D&D release of TBC?
: I thought it was GURPS... Tell me more. Is it good? Will
: I want to spend 19.99 on it? I think I will even if
: its not good. I bought GURPS myth...
I'm a big fan of it. It completely reinvents the magic system to better reflect the rarity and power of magic in TBC. Combat operates at three levels (independent, unit, and army) each of which have different rules and such. There's good character flexibility (great, even) and they provide not only full rules for every major and minor TBC character and creature - but also plenty of suggestions as to how to run a game.
I'd definitely advise buying it. Even though, as a playtester I got a rough rulebook, I still bought the real deal when it came out.
