In Response To: Conclusions After Day 1 (Forrest)

: Alright, here's what we've got so far: Lots of people
: confused about the end of TFL and the later TFL events
: described in TFL. To clear things up: The Deceiver
: dissappeared after the battle at Seven Gates.

The Deceiver crossed the Stair of Grief sometime after his fight with The Watcher and before May 23rd, according to "Sons of Myrgard" journal entry. Not exactly a disappearing act to me. I spy contradictions in the storyline...

: Half a
: year or so later, around the incident at Forest Heart,
: The Nine discovered that the Head had been
: double-crossing them, and thousands of people
: unexpectedly sprung up to defend him - two of the Nine
: died in the ensuing civil war. While the Legion headed
: up through the Dire Marsh, the Deceiver crossed the
: Cloudspine at the Stair of Grief.

The Legion didn't even enter the Dire Marsh 'til June 15th according to the journal entry of "The Road North".

: As Alric went to
: kill Balor, Madrigal fell. Somewhere in there, or just
: after, the Deceiver was plunged into the raging Dramus
: river (Tharsis was still erupting, apparenly), and the
: Head vanished into history.

We have no date whatsoever as to when The Deceiver was trapped in ice. The only thing that is certain is that that it was 60 years ago from the first year of the war against Soulblighter according to Twelve Motion Jeweled Skull in the journal entry of "The Stair of Grief." If maybe assuming that it had to be winter for him to freeze up fast enough (might've been the altitude, though) then it should've been in the winter months after December 7th (battle of Seven Gates).

You ever heard of volcanoes erupting for more than seven months, by the way?

One a side note: Tharsis didn't manage to keep Bagrada open either. And Bagrada is closer to Tharsis than the Stair of Grief.
