: Avatars are supposed to be the bodies that gods take when

: Well, Alaric is a german name that's supposed to mean
: something like "all-king"
: Balor
: Balar is a giant or king of norse/irish myth that has
: one eye and can like smite people with it.
: Berserks
: Berserks were these like norse fighters that would wear
: animal furs and paint their faces black. I think they
: had an iron ring around their neck that they wouldn't
: take off until they had killed a man.
: Eblis Stone
: Amazing what you can find when randomly flipping through
: the dictionary. Eblis is a muslim devil I think.
: Fir'Bolg
: The firh'bolg (there's an odd 'h' in there somewhere) are
: a race that like humans defeated when they came to
: ireland/scotland/england (not sure which). I think
: they were a race of giants and they threw stones.
: Skrael
: Skrael for those who don't know were these lizard guys
: that never made it into Myth I. I found out the other
: day that when vikings first came to america they
: called the natives "skraelings". The vikings
: relations with the natives weren't that great so maybe
: the viking like berserks were enemies with the Skrael.
: Trow
: Well, Trow is probably derived from troll and trolls were
: supposed to turn to stone when the sun hit them.
: Ghol
: Probably from "ghoul" who were supposed to be
: desacrators (bad spelling) of graves.
