It still seems to me that Shiver's resurrection was possible only because she was disembodied rather than killed. If Soulblighter could have resurrected the Watcher too, I'm sure he would have brought back both; three Fallen Lords are better than two, even if one of them has a big weakness.

If you recall, after the level "The Wall" we learn that Soulblighter was willing to drown Shiver and her army if he could destroy the Legion; not exactly the act of a concerned lover. In fact, I'm not even sure in what sense a guy like Soulblighter could experience love. The Fallen Lords want to destroy all life, remember? The only reason they even care about their own welfare is that they have to live long enough to kill everyone else. It's really hard for me to imagine Damas looking into Ravanna's shining eyes and murmuring, "I thought I'd never see you again. I thought..." and Ravanna interrupting with, "Hush, darling, I'm here now and that's all that matters," and then they proceed to the couch and I think I'll stop now and go take a cold shower and two bottles of Valium. Bye!
