: Now that's a grim and bleak thought. But it fits, and he
: is undoubtedly something of a Berserk (thusly, I
: shouldn't find it surprising), despite choosing much
: different weaponry.
: Very good movie, that. Placing Connacht in something like
: that part of Serenity instead River, with the Reavers
: being Myrkridia is a nearly perfect way of showing how
: utterly fearless and lethal Connacht is.
: Incidentally, is there any thing to go by for Connacht
: having (then, latter, or at any point before returing
: as Balor) any sort of magical ability himself
: whatsoever?
: I'm not saying he should, but I'm curious if canon
: indicates anything.
: Seraph
I dont think there is as far as we know besides him being an incredibly powerful warrior. Though I wonder why it is that he was able to change the war, it seems that he must have had superior battle tactics and the ability to inspire men...
Even as Balor he doesnt seem to have massive magical powers. He's certainly no mage. He's almost invulnerable sure, and hes got that lightning thing (I always attributed it to his sword) but the main magic thing was supposedly that he bound the fallen lords to him and they derived their power from him and that wasn't even true. So I woudlnt say he would be such a magician.
