: A thought that just hit that causes a minor problem we
: may need to deal with. As things stand, we have the
: Myrkridia as basically organized man eating wolves,
: with more intelligence and much deadlier. So where do
: the stories refered to in that quote come from? Simply
: eating humans on a regular basis is hardly anything to
: spark viewing them as demons out to wipe out mankind
: from the face of the world (Myth has things that do
: have such plans to tell stories about for those who
: would do so). The kind of 'krids we're thinking of
: seem to look at humans more as...well, deer. Game to
: be hunted. Not something to be exterminated.
Well, anyone who stood against the Myrkridia would be wiped from the face of the Earth, and when the Leveller was around they *were* organized such to destroy mankind utterly (one has to wonder how the Leveller would convince them to do such).
: Sounds good.
: What exactly is Llancarfan, then? We're apparently
: steering away from it being the same as Muirthemne.
No, I'm thinking they're two names for the same city. GURPS suggests that Llancarfan is properly the seat of the city, the main portion of it, and Muirthemne is the greater city, but that Muirthemne refers to either of them... kind of like Manhattan and New York. New York County is synonymous with the borough of Manhattan, but the city proper (the whole metropolitan area) is much bigger than that and is still considered New York City.
