First off I'd like to be the first to say "holy shit thats an awesome idea"
I don't know about it being a madule, this sounds like it would be 50+ missions and there arent TOO many modders left to do it, but it could make a very nice fanfiction, even a story.
A few nitpicks though because this is what the forum is about.
Just for story flow and not as much 'running here, going back' I'd like the first beginning part to NOT be in gower, there are other areas that are infested with myrkridia and undead so we can spread around the world a little bit more... The narrator can still be FROm gower and we can reference that it is a blackened wasteland, but I'd rather run from something somewhere else. I see going into gower to find connacht being similar to the light going into the barrier during TFL.
I still want that 'the dwarves dark rituals tampering with other planes of existance gave the dark the knowledge to summon the myrkridia in the first place' thats a nice atrocity and it has a nice 'ties in the fetch' thing.
Moagim could know about these other planes because perhaps in an earlier life he may have been connected to the smiths of muirthemne who could have been a major Light side force in the time of the last Leveller. Helps give Moagim a bit more history similar to Balor
I know that the trow use swords in the comics, but part of me says thats just for fighting other trow, ogres and other large things... Big sweeping hammers seem to work better vs tiny units to me.
Don't specify that The Watcher and Mjarin brought Balor back to life. I dont want there being some sort of 'concious bringing back to life' thing. The only bringing back to life spell causes undead. Adding a 'ressurection' spell sort of makes the dark world of myth seem a bit less dark. Even if its just used by the badguys. Leave it a bit vague, perhaps imply that maybe the watcher and mjarin did it, or maybe its just the Cycle's response of him being killed early. So far as we know the only thing to return life to the dead is the power of the Cycle.
I could see this being written in the form of a Novel of some sort, as opposed into journal entries. Gathered from the delusions of the asylum forum and one big hurrah for the legends and lore site. I think it would be pretty well received. It's a shame we most likely would be unable to EVER print it.
