How frustrating. Never convinced anyone to try the single player campaigns? Shame on them, shame.
What kind of game did you play in that "Summer GURPS game"? That is, something set during the Wolf Age, or the "present", or what?

I've been giving (despite being only moderately fond of the system...not quite to my tastes) looking into getting the GURPS Myth book.
Frankly, while Halo and Bungie's other games may be alright (I've never played and have no real intention of doing so), Myth has converted me to the Ultimate Tr7th.

More seriously, it proves, to me at least, that "fantasy" is undependant on being unrealistic (magic may or may not exist in our world, but that doesn't make it unrealistic for existing in fantasy). It may well be different from our reality, but is not obligated to casually violate its nature and not replace the ignored physics with some mythological idea.

But I digress. I'd like to, though, play a Myth rpg...although there's one problem.
Myth is not a "hero friendly" world...if you represent it with any truth, being heroic is a great way to die. Sort of like Call of Cthulhu, but for different reasons.
Which may actually be a good way to approach it.
