Oh I know their Undead. They are just more akin to the thinking Undead, rather than mindless servants.
(Also if you note in M2 in Fear, the only unit that ever uses the "Undead" flag is the Stygian Knight and maybe some others, Thrall and soulless etc don't use it. Can't remember if they do use it in TFL though).
