: Okay, the leveller is a horrific killing machine. His big
: things are the Undead and horrible monstrosities. He
: has a tendancy to nearly scour the world clean,
: expecially for humans, fir'bolg and dwarves.... though
: the quote about the world spinning like a coin,
: belonging to either the living or the dead seems to
: imply that he would kill all the living, or at least
: attempt to...
: Dark side living units I can think of right now because
: its 8:31am and I haven't gone to bed yet...
: Brigands
: Well, they're asking for it. They're going to get
: betrayed and killed and zombified like everyone
: else... The ones in TFL were hypnotized by the
: Deceiver, and the ones in myth II... Soulblighter's
: not a real Leveller anyway...
: Myrkridia
: Well, Myrkridia were horrible monsterous beasts... They
: didn't really willingly alliance as they were just
: trained and aimed at people...
: Fetch
: The fetch were desperate to get back to their world...
: Balor said he could do it.
: Maul
: The maul were "...tempted by Soulblighter's promises
: of easy victory over an unprepared foe... "
: and I dont think Soulblighter was really a leveller
: anyway, he just wanted to be like his best buddy.
: Trow
: They seem to be sorta indestructable... The first time
: they were working with the leveller, they were in
: their Iron Age (and really liked crushing those lesser
: races no less) and I dont think the leveller could
: have really done anything. The Trow being the avatars
: of Nyx and all that could have stopped anything the
: Leveller threw at them during the height of their
: power. The second time they owed balor. After that,
: nothing... Prefered not to get involved, sort of
: saying that the Trow are not part of this, maybe only
: Wyrd's creatures get killed by the Leveller?
: Ghol
: Heres where the fun begins.
: Some "facts" from the above if no one bothered
: to read that...
: -The levellers I am counting are Moagim (Im assuming his
: army is similar to Moagim Reborn's in TWA) Mjarin is a
: different kind of Leveller. I call him a 'political
: Leveller' since he's really an odd one out, im leaving
: him out of this.
: -The leveller tends to 'totally dominate' whatever races
: are under their control... No wiggle room.
: -The Dark age brings about a time when the world is
: controlled by either the living or the dead.
: -The Leveller Seems to only to go after Lesser creations,
: the newer lifes, as they never seem to attack the trow
: (unless they join the army of the lesser creations)
: -Ghols are lesser races, yet they've joined the
: Leveller's army so many times... and they aren't dead
: yet?
: Here's the tough one, they are protrayed as being part of
: the forces of the Dark in every game. Why? Why do they
: side with the Leveller? To me they seem to be a lesser
: race, they definatly don't SEEM to be an older race,
: so why are they not being exterminated by the
: leveller. True Levellers (Well so far... Balor and
: maybe Moagim) seem to be against having anything thats
: not totally controlled as a race in their little
: armies. No Brigands or Mauls and that stuff. I don't
: know about the trow's Wind age involvement, why they
: were doing it...
: They tend to keep it in the
: "They swore an oath to fight for me they'd never
: break" Myrmidons,
: "I have something over them" Fetch
: "Hypnotized" Dark living units, or
: "Undead brainless Zombie"
: Then there are the ghols, who
: A) It would be dumb of them to fight on a side that would
: destroy them, and they would have been you know...
: Destroyed... Three times at least. So they must NOT be
: lesser wyrd created races at all... They must have
: been either created by Nyx or the 'Old Gods'. The only
: support I can give this besides the "they aren't
: dead" is the "Or we will fell your people
: like a pine forest." quote. Perhaps they are one
: of those older races, that like the oghre the Trow
: didn't destroy, but enslaved, or at least kept them
: over in their little area of the world...
: Perhaps they are a young race, that the Leveller keeps in
: line with the Trow (and since the ghols are too scared
: to resist, its slavery, thus 'totally controlled'. The
: Leveller kills them off like he does to all the young
: races, by throwing them all AT the other young races.
: In the time of the campaign of myth you sure kill a
: LOT of ghols. They don't seem to be careful with them
: or anything. In the times between games/ levellers the
: Ghols are fast enough breeders to repopulate....
: they joined Soulblighter because they really REALLY hate
: the dwarves, so he used that to get them to join....
: but he wasn't a leveller anyway...
Don't forget... who better to kill the human race (and other living races like them: fir'Bolg and Dwarves) than the best human (a smart brave hero) who defeated the The Leveler's last incarnation.
