In reference to everything said by everyone else:
I completely agree with pretty much everything said, but what I disliked the most about Myth III was the inconsistancies. I only remember the art of the Trow for Myth III, but in those images the Trow have human feet! The trow had elephant feet in Myth I and II, now they're not nearly as unique, they're basically just tall humans with small ears. Another was the myrkridia which have gotten noticeably more hairy and wolf-like, if I remember properly from the last time I played (Which was like two years ago) the myrkridia held their arms up as they ran and arched their backs which made them look real dorky in Myth III.
And now something off the topic of inconsitancies, I thought that the Myth III game didn't seem nearly as much as a real historical occurance than any other of the Myth games. The gameplay was also a lot less enjoyable in some indescribable way. Maybe it was the fact that they made it full 3D models, I noticed that games like Myth I and II and Marathon are more enjoyable than their equivilants that are in 3D. But then that's just me.
In conclusion, I think that Bungie should have never sold Myth to those guys who have ruined it.
