Not really. The narrator sounds like an old, grizzled, weary veteran. In the first few books I didn't really pictured Croaker as old and I never pictured him as weary. Maybe that's just me.
As for games I've been getting into, I've been snagging various emulators lately. I've been playing alot of the old Capcom "Alien vs. Predator" game. I'd play more Civ 2, but they put the cheats write in the top menu. How could I resist. Of course I would like huge sums of money and giant tank battalions for free in the year 2000 B.C.. For all the happy happy carnage carnage, it got boring.
