: no kidding! He definitely doesn't look like his supposed
: age (late 20's or 30's), but then again, being an
: avatara may have certain adverse physical affects, not
: to mention the stress of being a wizard and fighting a
: losing war. Then again it kinda looks like he's
: wearing warpaint or makeup or something, so perhaps
: it's not his face but some sort of covering. Either
: way you probably are right about the alternate ending.
: I mean, it definitely sounds cooler to think that
: Alric dies at the end of the game. The hero dying in
: the end is always cool. Always. I honestly think that
: they just disregarded it when they made the second
: one, since it's not a real prevelant part of the
: ending of Myth I. But then again, Bungie seems to be
: known for its hidden secrets, meaningful easter eggs,
: and surprises. Again, maybe that this is the se7enth
: year since Myth was released we'll get some extra info
: on the game or something cool. Actually, I'd just be
: happy to see that "other game" (wink wink)
: come out that Bungie has been blathering on about for
: two years now. I'm beginning to think that they're
: never going to release it, b/c they've been pushing
: back the release date for years.
: But i digress.
BTW, who exactly are the avatara? Are they supposed to be some sort of supernatural entities like the Leveller/Savior?
Or a mage/wizards order of some kind. As far as I see it magic doesn't come across as commonplace in Myth. Perhaps they are the 'next' Fallen Lords as seems likely from M3. Or perhaps Alric is the Dragon Reborn and these comrades of his are ta'veren? If ne one is familiar with WOT that is. I'm new around these forums and just bear with me here.
