go check the field guide to the last level, the hosts make a point to note the flying alric head. Or just beat the last level and look for yourself. There's a flying alric head soaring through the air. I know alric wasn't at the great devoid, but regardless, he "died" at the end of the first myth, unless there are two avatara that look exactly alike.
