These new races were all the "Younger/Lesser races" - Ohgres, Skrael...Men...
It seems that some power(s) want to topple the most powerful race on the plant, at the time, every 1,000 years. Which makes fora dark twist in the Myth world, as humanity is then just an infestation cooked up by these powers...
