: Okay, so we all know that the Cycle has been going on for
: ages and ages. The Trow said so. That means that the
: Leveler has possessed other creatures besides humans,
: because humans are relatively new critters.
: That brings a question to my mind. If the Leveler takes
: on, and indeed increases the powers and skill of its
: host than does that mean that its taken a step down in
: power from the old days?
: Think about it! Some of the old races, such as the
: Callieach, had powers that would have made even the
: most powerful human spell casters tremble. The Leveler
: obviously doesn't retain the powers of its hosts after
: they die, because it would have been truly unstoppable
: by any human nation, much less a ragtag force led by a
: young Avatara, even if said Avatara had a powerful
: artifact.
: If the Leveler did possess members of the old races, than
: it must stand to reason that it does not enjoy the
: power it once did, simply because its hosts are not up
: to par.
: How frustrating that must be.
: That's all. Kickass Front Page guys! Many thanks to
: everyone who worked on it.
: Until next time,
: Drunken Ghol
Well if you look in the dreaded M3 manual you find that the Leveler is created when humanity came on scene.
I'm thinking humans were in the Myth world for lets say about 10,000 + years, plenty of time to forget the cycle I'd say as not many people can live the 1000 years between cycles.
