: Or mb Leveler teleported his spriti to SB? Look, his
: survive Balor's death(Deceiver too, but he's weak, he
: was defeated by Durak and another heroes). That he
: create a great army of undead, seeks Summoner and with
: his help resurrect myrks. How could a SB, if he was
: only one of the Fallen Lords(his power depended of
: Balor's life), be so powerfull? It's obvious he had
: Leveler spirit inside of him. Ok, but it's true that
: narrator says(in myth II epilogue) that sb wasn't the
: Leveler. How could he know it? He was only a warrior
: or archer, so he hadn't knowedge about Fallen Lords.
To be fair to the big D, I don't think that his defeat at Durak's hands was to do with personal weakness, but rather to do with the weakness of his armies. He had already taken heavy casualties in battle against the Watcher, and was probably on the vanguard of the forces that finally destroyed Madrigal. The death of Balor would then have eliminated all of his lesser undead followers, leaving just the Ghols, Fetch, Trow and Shades behind his banner (and whatever corpses he could personally raise in the interim), and, with the death of Balor, it's likely that desertion among the Fetch and Trow would have been high. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the Trow under his command had all simply strode off as soon as they learned of Balor's death. The Deceiver's army would have been literally falling to pieces around him: his defeat is hardly surprising.
